Race Day - what to wear, what to wear??

If like me, you have a day job, you will face the dilemma of what to wear on Melbourne Cup, the race that stops a nation (Australia's answer to the Kentucky Derby). What can I wear that works for both my morning where I have to be the highly efficient professional me but can also work for cup day me which busts out around lunch time with the pop of a champagne bottle, a quick trip to the TAB and a long lunch waiting for the big race?

Hats, generally don't cut it.....for starters, we are inside not track-side, generally next to some mover and shaker and let’s face it, who wants to be 'that girl' with the over-sized fascinator blocking the view of the tech guys stationed in the back row. This year I am going the headband. Something I can wear all day and still wow the marketing girls who have been hogging the bathrooms since 10am with my effortless elegance and a little bit of help from Piggi.

These are my top picks of the latest Piggi creations!

Enjoy cup day ladies!
